ABSTRACT

We report a case of a 66-year-old man presenting with peripheral corneal thinning following Mitomycin C-augmented trabeculectomy. A large peripheral corneal thinning area was noted in the superior cornea. A full-thickness tectonic keartoplasty was performed; therefore, vision could be preserved. With this case report we would like to emphasize that full-thickness tectonic grafts are a therapeutic option in selected cases of corneal thinning to restore the ocular integrity.
